Misty morning, Looe
Mist rising from the Looe River
I took this shot from the western side of the Looe River estuary on a freezing cold but sunny morning late in October, when an eerie mist was rising from the water. The sun was low in the sky to the left, which meant there was a risk of flare ruining the picture. As I was lining up the shot a group of swans cruised past, downriver from the boat, and by chance lined up with what looks like an arrow at the bottom of the frame.
